Editorial Policy

చివరిగా నవీకరించబడింది:

Last updated: September 14, 2026. Studio One News publishes news, explainers, reviews and practical information for Telugu and English readers. These standards apply to articles, headlines, images, video captions and social posts controlled by the publication.

Accuracy and verification

Names, dates, locations, documents, quotations and material claims should be verified before publication. Developing information must be described as such, with confirmed facts separated from uncertainty. Significant new facts should be added as an update.

Sources and attribution

We prefer first-hand reporting, primary documents, official records and on-the-record sources. Information obtained from another publication should be attributed and linked when practical. Anonymous sourcing requires a clear public-interest reason and editorial review.

Political, legal and public-interest claims

Allegations, accusations and disputed political claims must be attributed to the person, filing or institution making them. Reports should state what is independently verified, describe the status of an inquiry or proceeding accurately, and seek a response from people or organizations facing significant criticism when time and circumstances allow.

Health, science and consumer safety

Health and safety claims require authoritative evidence appropriate to the claim. Articles must not present home tests, foods, rituals, astrology or artificial-intelligence tools as a diagnosis, cure or guaranteed outcome. Readers should be directed to qualified professional or official guidance when a decision could affect health or safety.

Belief, astrology and tradition

Devotional stories, astrology, dream interpretation and traditional practices must be clearly framed as belief, culture or folklore. They must not be written as certain predictions or as substitutes for medical, legal or financial advice.

Children, privacy and vulnerable people

Reporting about children requires added care. Names, family details, schools, home locations, images and other identifying information should be published only when there is a clear public-interest reason and an appropriate consent or reporting basis. The same care applies to survivors, patients, grieving families and other vulnerable people.

Headlines, images and synthetic media

Headlines and thumbnails must reflect the substance of the reporting without exaggerating a claim or distorting a quotation. Images and recordings should preserve the meaning of the original event. Supplied, illustrative, materially altered or synthetic media must be identified, and rights should be recorded before use.

Bylines and profiles

Articles carry a contributor byline or the shared Studio One News Desk byline. Public author pages describe only information supported by the published archive or a verified newsroom record. Education, experience, awards and credentials are not inferred.

Independence and commercial material

Editorial coverage is decided by the newsroom. Advertising, sponsorships, reader-revenue products, political interests, gifts or personal relationships must not determine news judgments. Paid or sponsored material must be labeled so readers can distinguish it from independent reporting. Contributors should disclose relationships that could reasonably affect their work.

Corrections and accountability

Substantive errors should be corrected promptly and important changes explained. Readers can report an error through the Contact page. The detailed process appears in the Corrections Policy.
